Unit Vector Calculator is a free tool for vector math. It runs in your browser. It can:

  • Normalize a 2D or 3D vector to length 1
  • Solve for a missing component of a unit vector
  • Show the magnitude and the direction angles
  • Show the result in component form and in i, j, k form
  • Draw the vector on a live 2D and 3D diagram
  • Print a step-by-step solution

We also publish written guides on vectors. Every calculation happens on your device. We never send your numbers to a server.
